Action
Computer Programming is a beginner-friendly course designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of programming and computer science in a clear, practical, and structured way. Students begin with the basics of programming using Python, including variables, expressions, input and output, and program structure. They then progress to conditions, loops, strings, lists, dictionaries, tuples, and functions, developing the logical thinking and problem-solving skills needed to write and understand programs. The course also introduces students to broader computer science concepts, including relational databases and SQL concepts, computer hardware and system components, computer networks and the Internet, helping students understand how software interacts with the systems around it. Finally, students get their first introduction to Machine Learning, including supervised and unsupervised learning, features, distances, and basic clustering concepts such as K-Means. By the end of the course, students will have a solid foundation in programming, computational thinking, and essential computer science concepts that prepares them for more advanced programming and technology courses.
